Dartmouth Restaurants

Dartmouth is blessed with many fine restaurants, with an emphasis on local produce, and (not surprisingly) seafood. The Angel built up a great reputation back in the 80s, and put Dartmouth on the foodie map of the South West. The Angel itself has undergone several changes of chef and name and is unfortunately closed at present, but the tradition of high quality dining in and around Dartmouth is firmly established.

Today Dartmouth can offer everything from fine dining (Mitch Tonk’s Seahorse, or Browns Hotel), through Bistros (Anzac Street Bistro, or Kendricks) and pub grub (The Dolphin, or the Cherub), not to mention excellent fish and chips, Asian (Spice Bazaar), cafes, bars, tea rooms …. Just go and look on TripAdvisor and see for yourself!

We’re featuring many of these eateries individually in these pages
